Wood Spirit Getaway

The cabin was so thoughtfully decorated - so fun to look at all the unique touches and included was every amenity you would ever need - the owners thought of everything. Michelle was super responsive and helpful and the cabin and hot tub was very well cleaned - you felt like you were at home.

First off, everything! It was so homey and Michelle was so kind. From the provided coffee and the ice to the extra blankets and hot tub. It was all wonderful. The style and ambience was perfect. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We loved it. P.S. it holds a special place in our hearts it will always be the place my fiancé proposed!

The cabin was incredibly clean in every respect. The furniture, appliances, and decor were all top-notch. The hot tub was amazing. Michele's attention to detail is simply amazing.

The cabin and surrounding property were really nice and it was a short drive into Athens for restaurants and other activities. The owners were very accommodating with arrival times and even mailed us my son's EarPods left behind. I highly recommend staying here!

There were so many little details that made our stay very special. This is a well cared for cabin and the owners spent a lot of time making sure we had absolutely everything we could possibly need and more. That attention to detail was appreciated. Clean. Good communication. Beautiful surroundings. We stayed due to it being 10 min from OU, but planning to return even tho our kids graduated.

Secluded but not too secluded. Just far enough away from town to "get away". The cabin had everything we needed for the weekend, from the hot tub to the coffee. And the view was incredible! Not to mention the lady we rented from was so very sweet and helpful. My husband and I will definitely be going back.

Our stay at Wood Spirit was a perfect close to home vacation. The cabin is beautiful and stocked. We enjoyed sleeping in the loft and the hot tub is heaven. It is located about 15 minutes away from Athens. The host cares about her property and it shows. This cabin is not only beautiful but was also the cleanest I have ever stayed in. We will definitely be back.

The cabin was so clean and cozy! It was so very relaxing. We even had a doe come to visit on our first morning. The Christmas decor was so sweet! We definitely will be back and will recommend it to others!

I needed a place to stay while attending a series of meetings for work.

Overnight stay with elderly parent and was wonderful. We just wanted to get away for an overnight and be in peaceful setting.
